Deutsch-polnische Kultserien
Die pädagogisch wertvollen Serien wurden seit Ende der 80er-Jahre viele Male im deutschen Fernsehen bei den Sendern der ARD ausgestrahlt und sind nach wie vor ein gefragtes Liebhaber- und Sammler-Thema, das in Blogs und Foren viele Fans begeistert.
"Die Kinder vom Mühlental" (Originaltitel: "Urwisy z Doliny Młynów") war die erste deutsch-polnische Koproduktion nach Abschluss eines Abkommens zwischen dem Komitee für Hörfunk und Fernsehen (Warschau) und dem WDR im Jahre 1984. Der WDR war an der Entwicklung dieser Serie maßgeblich beteiligt.
Neben den gleichen Schauspielern konnten weitere namhafte Künstler für die beiden aufwändig produzierten und pädagogisch hochwertigen Serien gewonnen werden. Die Musik wurde von dem polnischen Musiker Andrzej Korzynski komponiert, aus dessen Feder auch die Musik zu den international bekannten Kinofilmen "Die schwarze Mühle" (1975) und "Die unverbesserliche Barbara" (1977) stammt. Außerdem lieh der begehrte Synchronsprecher und Schauspieler Heinz Schimmelpfennig dem Storch Jacki seine Stimme.

"Gigglebug" comes to Channel 5's "Milkshake!"

The British broadcaster is betting on Gigglebug’s international popularity in the online world and will stream the episodes of the series on Milkshake!’s first ever YouTube channel as well as on the block’s website, milkshake.tv.

Content buyers from all over the world can now purchase the rights to produce international adaptations or remakes of the brand new reality formats "My Garden on a Plate" (pictured) and "Made with Love" as well as the fictional comedy series "Suck it up!".

The new live action series by Irish production studio Sixteen South will be filmed in summer 2017. It features puppets in beautiful outdoor locations and aims to encourage children to appreciate nature.
Kavaleer and WDRmg team up for "Dougie Noir"

Kavaleer Productions and WDR mediagroup will collaborate on a new 52 x 11 action-comedy series for 6-11 year olds, "Dougie Noir". The (estimated) €4.5m series is scheduled to begin pre-production Summer 2017.
