After studying business administration at the University of Passau, Frank Nielebock began his career in 1997 as a member of the management team at media company C.A.M.P. TV in Munich. In 2002, the business graduate moved to the Monaco Film Group as Managing Director, where he was responsible for finance, production and human resources. At the same time, he was authorised signatory and Director of Corporate Affairs for Odeon Film AG, its parent company. At the end of 2008, he joined WDR mediagroup GmbH in Cologne. As a member of the management board, he was responsible for finance and investments before becoming Managing Director of WDR mediagroup GmbH in March 2017. Frank Nielebock has been Spokesperson for the Management Board of WDR mediagroup since August 2026. He is also Chairman of the Shareholders’ Meeting of Bavaria Film GmbH.

After completing an internship at a local radio station, Tobias Lammert studied economics at Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences, graduating with a degree in business administration. He then worked as a marketing manager at RTL and later as a sales manager at ARD-Werbung Sales & Services (now ARD Media GmbH). From 2008 to 2015, he worked for the marketing company ARD & ZDF Fernsehwerbung. There, he was responsible for all operational tasks within the sales organisation as Sales Director. After a brief stint in the management of a sound design agency, he became Head of Marketing and Sales and authorised signatory at WDR mediagroup GmbH in 2015. From 2024, he also served as managing director of ARD MEDIA GmbH in Frankfurt until he took over as chairman of ARD-Werbung in August 2026. Since then, Tobias Lammert has been managing director of WDR mediagroup.
