We find interesting advertising partners for radio (1LIVE / WDR2) and TV advertising (ARD early evening), advise and assist them with their bookings, distribute old and new film treasures on various streaming platforms or traditionally on DVD/Blu-ray, bring “Die Maus” to enthusiastic fans’ homes in the form of accessories, textiles or print products, make “Die Sendung mit der Maus” completely accessible, organise unforgettable events for almost 1 million visitors annually, and enable the ARD programme to be viewed abroad through our Channels International department.

WDR mediagroup digital GmbH is a leading IT and broadcast service provider.

Our services are primarily aimed at public service broadcasting. In addition to managed services in IT workplace services and data centre services, our portfolio includes the operation of automated digitisation systems and the operation of extensive IT infrastructures and application systems, including the corresponding support. ARD Plus GmbH, the newest subsidiary of WDR mediagroup GmbH, is an exciting new player in the world of video-on-demand. In addition to our SVoD channels on MagentaTV, Amazon Prime and Apple TV, we now also operate ARD Plus as a standalone platform on the web and as an app. We are also involved in program distribution, including on TV and all relevant VoD platforms.
